Lagu ini bertajuk ‘Beast’ yang video musiknya disutradarai oleh David Thorne. Lagu ini ditulis sendiri oleh David Archuleta bersama Cardin McKinney dan Joe Tounge.
Pelantun ‘Crush’ ini memberikan genre anthem synth-pop yang melankolis sekaligus cathy pada lagu barunya ini. Video musiknya baru saja ia rilis melalui akun YouTube resminya pada 2 November 2021.
Ia menyebutkan bahwa menulis ‘Beast’ ini ditulis setelah ia merasa frustasi akibat hubungannya yang memburuk gara-gara pergulatan yang terjadi di dalam dirinya.
